Potential Client Reconnaissance Agent Information
I appreciate your interest in working with Effects Entertainment as a Potential Client Reconnaissance Agent. Yes, I really created that ridiculous name just so we can all feel incredibly special.
Please note: this is low-pressure situation that only requires 1 booking resulting from your reconnaissance per month to sustain the agreement. You are not expected to live and breathe Effects. Rather, you are more like a sub-contractor working as much time as you are willing or able to dedicate. So long as you meet the 1 a month minimum, you will not be contacted accept with additional information about the company to help in your work.

Basically, I am so busy with day to day activities with work and other projects that I am looking for some help in actively pursuing new clients. What that entails is that you will use Google (or Yahoo or Ask or AOL or any of the other lesser known search engines you use just to be unique) to search for potential clients in about a 50 mile (give or take 20 miles) radius surrounding my location in Lancaster, PA.
This means finding events high schools, middle schools, districts, colleges, organizations, government organizations, etc to find upcoming events that would utilize any of Effects Entertainment’s services.
There are then two courses of return.
If you simply acquire the contact information for the person directly responsible for book entertainment and I am then able to convert that contact information into a booking, you will receive 10% of the total income for the booking to be paid at the same time I am paid.
Ie. If I turn that information into a $500 dollar booking and they give me a $200 dollar deposit, you will get $20 at the time of the deposit and $30 dollars on the day of the event for a total of $50.
If you are interested in making a higher commission, you can also choose to contact and schedule the event using the rate information from this website and subsequent info that I will give you.
If you schedule the event (while coordinating with me, of course) you will receive 15% for any booking less than $1000 dollars, you will receive 20% for any event over $1000 dollars.
If you are interested in pursuing this work, please contact me to receive the super official Potential Client Reconnaissance Agent agreement. And FYI, this does not extend to just Google. Any person that has a signed agreement that refers a client of any kind will receive the above percentages.
This also applies to ANY Effects service from DJs and Karaoke to Movies and tattoo artists. Just remember that movies are very complicated in terms of legality and set up so we will need to work very closely together to prepare you for selling this service. Movies also do not have a travel limit because travel costs will be worked into all movie contracts.
Effects retains the right to maintain only enough Potential Client Reconnaissance Agents as it deems necessary and all agreements are only valid for 6 months following the date signed.
Please make sure to familiarize yourself with all of the services that Effects offers, but be aware that the main services we push are DJs, Karaoke, Outdoor Movies, Airbrush Tattoo artists, and face painters.
For contact information that leads to multiple or recurring events (ie. A regular weekly gig at a bar or restaurant), you will receive commission on only the total number of gigs agreed to at the time of the first contract with the client.
Please be encouraged to think outside the box. For example- if you live nearby, feel free to go out, print up small fliers (or ask me for some and hang them), ask your friends, etc.
Current specific project
(with special rates and NOT requiring an agreement)
The current, most important project is to find school calendars looking for school dances or related events that would require a DJ that will be taking place in the next three months.
If you give me the contact information for the school along with the date of the event or dance, you will receive 10% of any converted booking.
If you contact the school and get the specific contact information for the person running the dance or event (like a student council advisor, etc) you will receive 15% for a converted booking.
This is a temporary arrangement not requiring a signed agreement and will only be valid until March 1st.
This also extends to other businesses or organizations having events in the next 3 months.
