Please allow me to introduce myself,
I am William Hess and I am the founder of Effects Event Entertainment Services. We recently relocated to the Lancaster area from Boston where I learned the ins and the outs of the event entertainment while working for a company known throughout New England for its work in the event industry and known throughout the country for its standing in the outdoor movie industry. It is also in Boston where I founded Effects.
Since starting in the industry, I have worked with clients as diverse as Harvard University, Mayor Thomas Menino of Boston, Magic 106.7, the Massachusetts General Hospital, and even the Tribeca film festival in New York City. I have have also provided DJ, karaoke, and varying related services for countless clients and events ranging from Boston night clubs and harbor cruises to weddings and school dances.
Now that we have relocated to the Lancaster/Philadelphia area, it is my hope that I might develop a relationship with some of the local bars, restaurants, cafés, and other businesses that were staples in my life while growing up here.
Our music and karaoke libraries are extensive and up to date—inherited from my mentor who was the sole provider of DJs for dozens of different Boston clubs and bars for over thirty years. As a company, I guarantee that any person we send as a representative, be it as a DJ or karaoke jockey or trivia host, will be professional, reliable, and, most importantly, entertaining. More so, as part of any service that we offer, we carry a complete set of back up equipment to ensure that no technical glitch can hinder an evening.
Our Trial Program
As part of our endeavor to create new relationships, Effects is also offering a low-risk trial program. Let’s face it—times are tough for everyone, let alone those of us working in industries built on people spending money to have fun. In this climate, businesses are looking for new creative ways to improve their patronage while taking a minimal risk. For this reason, Effects is now offering local bars, restaurants, cafés, the likes, the opportunity to schedule up to 3 dates at a highly discounted rate to see whether recurring services will best improve business. Some of these services include DJ, Karaoke, Bar Trivia, Game Show Mania and Rock Bingo. Once you know what brings in the patrons, we then negotiate a longer-termed agreement at the normal rate.
I understand that many businesses already have standing relationships with other companies and individuals to provide some of the services we offer. I also understand, however, that this is the type of industry that requires regular reevaluation. If nothing else, I simply suggest that you keep our information on file. I promise you will not be disappointed. Also, if there is ever a time that your entertainment for an evening has suddenly fallen through, we accept last minute jobs all the time.
